On Saturday, March 5, 2011 more than 200 guests attended the 11th annual Atlanta Consumers’ Choice Award® banquet for business excellence. Artistic Pools was among more than 75 Atlanta businesses that were recognized for customer satisfaction excellence at the Downtown Ritz Carlton.

The award is based on a survey of residents and businesses in the Atlanta Metropolitan area responding to a questionnaire on customer satisfaction. The survey was conducted by Survey Sampling International®, a global leader in customer satisfaction studies.

The Consumers’ Choice Award^®, established in 1986 to identify and promote business excellence, utilizes a unique survey that asks consumers to choose the best of their city.

Respondents are randomly selected from both the business community and the general public. Based on the criteria of value, professionalism, service and any other issue they may wish to consider, respondents are asked to select the company that most merits the Consumers’ Choice Award® for business excellence.

In addition to the business award presentations and a banquet, the evening included a fund raiser benefitting the Atlanta Chapter of the March of Dimes. In a silent auction featuring gifts donated by Consumers’ Choice Award recipients and supporters, the event generated over $10,000 for the organization that is best known for combating birth defects and premature deliveries.

The award event was hosted by WSB Talk Radio 750 personalities Belinda Skelton and Dave Baker. Special Guest of Honor, Solange Warner, the Founder of the World Chamber of Commerce presented the awards.
