Richmond. Va. -- (April 13, 2001) The Master Pools Guild, an elite group of professional swimming pool builders, is proud to announce that 18 of its members have been honored by Pool & Spa News, a leading publication serving the pool industry.

Guild Chairman Mike Geremia, whose company was among the winners, claims, ‘‘It says a lot about the Guild that more than one-third of the recipients are Master Pools builders. We know we have a special group of talented professionals, and it’s rewarding to see industry-wide recognition for so many of our members."

In its March 14 issue, Pool & Spa News announced the recipients of its fifth animal Industry’s Choice Awards. Local builder MASTER POOLS BY ARTISTIC POOLS, INC. of ATLANTA, GEORGIA, is among the honorees.

The yearly competition names 49 Distinguished Builders around the United States seven builders in each of seven regions defined by Pool & Spa News.

The contest, sponsored by Pool & Spa News, is decided by ballot. It honors those whom industry professionals believe exhibit the highest level of professionalism. Voters are asked to consider six criteria when making their decisions: design skills, construction and remodeling expertise, sales and marketing techniques, business practices, customer satisfaction, and community service.
